ANT!BOD!ES explores the delicate balance between health and illness in both the body and intimate relationships. The work reflects on how external forces, like love or conflict, impact both physical and emotional states. It parallels the body’s response to disease with patterns of dynamics of relationships, revealing subtle connections between the two.

Comprised of four sub-works—three visual pieces ("Tests," "Lungs," and "Blood [White]") and a sound component—the project delves into the body through medical tests and conversations, while the sound element introduces an interruptive "Stop" mechanism. The title alludes to white blood cells, which in certain conditions turn against the body, just as relationships can harm rather than nurture.

FAQs

Meet the artist

I am a visual artist who likes the sign of languages, repetitions of gestures and blurred images.

This is a photograph of me shaking my head to loosen up any lines, a colour gone mushy or pieces of the puzzle, that might have gotten a bit stuck.

I am fond of Francis Bacon, Eva Hesse, Agnes Martin, Mark Rothko, Giotto, Leonardo da Vinci - I could go on.

On this website you will find my small contribution to the world of art and culture.
